The Louisville football program’s latest commitment happens to have a strong connection with the University of Louisville.
Jaraye Williams, a four-star, linebacker out of Burien, Washington, gave the Cards a verbal commitment over the weekend. He’s the son of former Louisville basketball star Terrence Williams.

Williams also happens to be the highest ranked commitment for Scott Satterfield’s staff in 2021.
247Sports ranks Jaraye as the 321st best overall player in the class and the 22nd best outside linebacker.
Before committing to the Cards, Williams also considered Washington State, USC, Arizona State, Boise State, Nebraska and held offers from a number of other FBS programs.
The elder Williams starred for Rick Pitino on the hardwood from 2005-09. T-Will was one of the more complete overall players during the Pitino era, scoring over 1,500 career points. As a senior, he averaged 12.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game.
Louisville now has a total of 11 commits from the 2021 class.<
