Scott Satterfield and the his staff are now up to 14 total commitments from the 2021 recruiting class.

Cornerbacks Kani Walker and Derrick Edwards are the latest to give Louisville a verbal pledge.

Walker, a 6-foot-2, 175-pound, Douglasville, Georgia, native announced his commitment on his Twitter account.

Walker gave Boston College a verbal commitment in late March, but decided to reopen his recruitment earlier this month.

247Sports rates Walker as a three-star prospect.

Walker chose Louisville over Arkansas and NC State.

Miami native Derrick Edwards also announced his commitment to the Cards on Twitter.

Edwards, a 5-foot-11, 175-pound, cornerback is regarded as one of the better athletes in the Miami area.

He clocked 4.66 40-yard dash at The Opening’s stop in South Florida and has a 37.4-inch vertical leap.

247Sports rates Edwards as a three-star prospect.

Edwards isn’t one of the higher rated commitments for Louisville, but he certainly has one of the best offer lists.

He chose the Cards over Baylor, Florida State, Miami, Tennessee and West Virginia, among others.
