Former Nebraska Commit Flips To Louisville

Scott Satterfield’s staff hasn’t let the global pandemic impact their recruiting efforts.

It’s been over two months since the staff has been able to host recruits for on campus visits, yet the program continues to put together their 2021 recruiting class.

Former Nebraska commit, RJ Sorensen, a 6-foot-4, 240-pound, defensive end is the latest to give Louisville a verbal pledge.

Sorensen committed to Nebraska early on in his junior season, but decided to reopen his recruitment in January.

247Sports rates the Fort Lauderdale native as a three star prospect and has Sorensen ranked as the 62nd best strong side defensive end in the 2021 class.

Sorensen chose Louisville over offers from Colorado, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Rutgers and Syracuse, among others.

Louisville’s 2021 recruiting class now has a total of nine players. Sorensen is the second Florida native to commit to the Cards this week.
