With No Head Coach Louisville Lands Commitment From California QB

The Lorenzo Ward era is off to a great start.

Within in his first 48 hours on the job Ward has landed a commitment from pro-style quarterback Patrick Roberg of the 2020 class.

Louisville appears to be the three-star prospect’s first offer. Roberg is reportedly receiving interest from UCLA, California, Illinois, Oregon State, Washington State, Baylor, and Michigan State.

Vince Tyra along with recruiting coordinator Pete Nochta and interim tight ends coach Richard Owens have been assisting Ward with reaching out to recruits following the firing of Bobby Petrino.

I’m not sure what to make of this, but Roberg and Jeff Brohm follow each-other on Twitter…
