When Chris Mack and his staff heavily pursued Jay Scrubb they were well aware that the NBA Draft would be a legit option for the Louisville native.
With the NBA Draft process being one of the many things in sports that were impacted by the pandemic, it seemed that Scrubb’s decision may not be that difficult.
Scrubb’s draft stock seemed early second round at best following his second season at John Logan College. With the NBA Draft Combine and various workouts in doubt due to Covid-19, it seemed like Scrubb wouldn’t have much of a chance to improve his stock.
With all of that said, Scrubb decided in April that he’ll bypass college and head to the NBA.
We’ll find out on Oct. 16 if he made the right decision, but as of right now it’s fair to question the advice/input that Scrubb received.
