Despite having some major NBA representation in the past few years the Louisville Cardinal basketball program is still behind other top tier programs.
As the NBA regular season officially tips off on Tuesday night there are a total of five former Cardinals on opening night rosters.
Among the seven programs that have been to the Final Four at least ten times only Ohio State has fewer players on NBA rosters.
Former Cardinals Ray Spalding, V.J. King and Deng Adel were among NBA final cuts and are expected to play in the G-League this season.
