More than a year after suffering a gruesome knee injury that kept his sidelined for the entire 2016 season, former Louisville Cardinal Teddy Brigdewater has been given the green light to return to the practice field.
Bridgewater was cleared by Dr. Dan Cooper to begin practicing on Monday morning in Dallas. Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer says Bridgewater will stay on the physically unable to perform list for the time being. The Vikings have 21 days to decide if they’ll keep him on the list or let him play.
The Vikings Twitter account shared highlights of Bridgewater at practice.
