Nearly all of Louisville’s top targets in the 2015 class are currently in Charlottesville, VA.,for the annual NBA Players Association Top 100 Camp. Washington D.C. point guard Bryant Crawford is one of the latest prospects to receive an offer from Louisville. Crawford stole the show on Friday morning when he posterized a defender during scrimmage play.
Scout.com ranks Crawford as the fifth best point guard in the 2015 class. He’s rated as a four star prospect. Louisville has been rumored to be one of the early leaders for Crawford, but Villanova is also in the mix. He also has scholarship offers from Connecticut, Georgetown, Indiana, Texas, Maryland, Nebraska and Penn State, among others.
Newest Louisville assistant coach Kenny Johnson was recruiting Crawford while he was at Indiana and has kept a close relationship since joining Pitino’s staff. Johnson’s connections in the D.C. area are well known and fortunately that is Crawford’s hometown.<
