As expected, former Louisville swingman V.J. King didn’t hear his name called during Thursday’s NBA Draft, but it didn’t take him long to land somewhere.
Shams Charania of The Athletic reports that King has signed a undrafted free agent contract with the New York Knicks.

This deal likely means King will play for the Knicks summer league team in Las Vegas and potentially earn a spot at their training camp.
Following his junior season King opted to forgo his final year of college eligibility to pursue a professional career. He also considered graduating over the summer and finishing his career as a grad-transfer at a different school.<
