The University of Louisville football program is set to start their spring camp on Tuesday. As usual, head coach Bobby Petrino has decided to open up a few practices for the fans to come and watch.
“We had a real good offseason,” Petrino said during a press conference on Monday afternoon. “I was impressed with what the players did in the weight room, the conditioning aspect, the quickness aspect, and it was done with a great attitude. We had a good plan in place and the players worked hard at it.”
Practices on March 24, March 28 and April 4 will be the three practices that will be open to the public. The first open practice on Friday is slated to begin at 3:25 p.m.
The team will have a total of fifteen practices leading up to their annual Wendy’s Wonderful Spring Game. This year’s game is set for April 15 at 1 p.m. at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium.
