There’s still a lot of unknown when it comes to what college football will look like in 2020, but on Monday morning the University of Louisville unveiled their plan for season ticket holders.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – With possible attendance restrictions for the upcoming 2020 University of Louisville football season, the UofL Athletics Department has implemented the following steps to make plans to accommodate fans in Cardinal Stadium this season.
With the possibility of capacity limits due to COVID-19, the renewal process for season ticket holders and Cardinal Athletic Fund members should be started by June 15, 2020. Options are to pay in full, start a payment plan or work with your athletics representative for alternate solutions. Mini-plans, single-game tickets, or group ticket packages are on hold until the city or state issues guidelines on large group gatherings.
Season ticket holders who renew their season tickets but decides at a later date they are not comfortable attending games this fall, may request a refund of their season ticket and annual seat donation.
Details related to football parking and the relocation process are still being finalized, and will be communicated to season ticket holders are soon as they are finalized.
As more information becomes available from government leaders on attendance this season, the department will communicate with season ticket holders.
The Cardinals are scheduled to open the season on Thursday, Sept. 3 versus NC State.
