During Saturday’s win over Virginia Louisville’s Lamar Jackson became the first player in college football history to ever pass for 3,000 or more yards and rush for 1,000 or more yards in back to back seasons.
For the second consecutive season Jackson is putting up numbers we may never see again in college football. There are a lot of great players in the country and it’d be hard to find one better than Jackson. With that said, the Heisman trophy doesn’t always go to the best player or the player with the most impressive stats.
Unfortunately for Lamar Jackson, the Heisman trophy rarely goes to the best player or the player with the best stats. pic.twitter.com/S8hE8dfZ2V
