The hiring of former N.C. State offensive line coach Dwayne Ledford isn’t official just yet, but it appears to already be paying off for the Louisville football program.
Roughly 24-hours after learning that Ledford would be leaving Dave Doeren’s staff to join Scott Satterfield at Louisville one of the Wolfpack’s top commitments has decided to reopen his recruitment.
Triston Miller, a 6-foot-6, 275-pound, offensive tackle from Charlotte announced on Monday evening that he has decommitted from NC State.
247Sports rates Miller as a four-star prospect and ranks him as the 22nd best offensive tackle in the 2019 class.
Given that Ledford was the primary recruiter for Miller at NC State, I’d say his decommitment isn’t a coincidence.
Shortly after reopening his recruitment Miller informed Bud Elliott of SBNation that he’ll visit USC and North Carolina, but also wants to try to check out Louisville and Florida State.
Could Triston Miller be the first commitment of the Satterfield era?<
