Two Louisville Assistant Coaches Placed On Administrative Leave

UofL acting athletic director Vince Tyra stated earlier this week that one of his first priorities was to determine the future of assistant basketball coaches Jordan Fair and Kenny Johnson.

On Friday morning UofL announced that both Johnson and Fair have been placed on paid administrative leave. Press release below.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville has placed associate head men’s basketball coach Kenny Johnson and assistant men’s basketball coach Jordan Fair on paid administrative leave, effective immediately.

“We are in the process of executing our due diligence as it relates to an ongoing investigation and feel that this an appropriate step at this time,” said UofL Acting Director of Athletics Vince Tyra.  “Our university will continue to fully cooperate with federal authorities in their investigation.”
