—Edgar Sosa will work out for the Toronto Raptors today. This will be Edgar’s final workout before the draft. Sosa will most likely go undrafted, but he does plan on playing at the NBA summer league in Las Vegas. According to Dominicansports.blogspot.com Sosa has had to cancel his plans to play with the Dominican National team in the Central American games due to his busy summer.
–Cardinal fans can expect to hear the ruling on Justin Coleman’s eligibility, as early as this weekend. The university will learn the results of Coleman’s ACT score on Saturday.
—Brian Bennett, a writer for the ESPN.com Big East Blog has ranked the top 25 players in the conference, and zero Louisville Cardinals have made the list. Bennett recently answered questions from viewers, and when asked why Louisville RB Vic Anderson was left off the list he responded by saying.
“I did consider Anderson, and I think when he’s fully healthy he’s easily one of the league’s best 25 players. It was a tough decision to leave him off. But Anderson didn’t put up great numbers last year because of assorted injuries, and I’m not exactly sure what his role in the offense will be — there’s been some talk that he may move to receiver. Let’s hope he can stay healthy, because he’s a fun guy to watch.”<
