After losing commitments from both Anfernee Simons and Courtney Ramey of the 2018 recruiting class last week, the Louisville basketball program took another hit this morning as it’s lone 2019 commitment withdrew his pledge to the school.
Evan Daniels of Scout.com reported that David Johnson of Trinity High School announced that he would be decommitting from the University of Louisville in wake of the the basketball program being involved in a federal investigation regarding college basketball recruiting.
Johnson, a four star 6’5 guard according to Scout, was Louisville’s only commitment in the class of 2019 and only been committed to the program for a little over two weeks.
This now leaves Louisville with no current commitments in either the 2018 or 2019 classes.
