It’s no secret that the running back position has become a primary focus on the recruiting trail this summer for Coach Bobby Petrino and the Louisville football program.
After securing commitments from 2 star athlete/running back Javian Hawkins, and 2 star Chatarius Atwell within the last week, the Cards were able to land another big time player last night when Arizona Western College running back Greg Bell committed to the program via Twitter. Bell listed at 6’0, 200 pounds by Rivals chose Louisville over Utah, Boise State, Arizona, and Arizona State. He is ranked as the top junior college running back in the country.

With Reggie Bonnafon, Malik Williams, and Jeremy Smith all heading into their senior seasons with the Cardinals, there is a need for a player with experience, as neither Colin Wilson nor Dae Williams have yet to take their first carries.
Bell is the Cardinals 18th commitment in the 2018 recruiting class. With his commitment Louisville now holds the 22nd best recruiting class in the nation.
