Prior to tipping off the 2019-20 season, Louisville’s Jimmy V. Classic match-up with the Texas Tech Red Raiders looked like one of Cards best chances to get a signature non conference win.
A month into the season, that’s no longer the case.
Beating a Chris Beard coached team will be no easy task, but a win against last year’s national runner up isn’t going to shine up the resume as much as we initially expected.
Beard and the Red Raiders have fallen on hard times, losing three consecutive games. To make matters worse, they could be without their leading scorer when they take on the No. 1 ranked team in college hoops.
Freshman guard Jahm’us Ramsey will reportedly be a game time decision for Texas Tech on Tuesday night.
Texas Tech's Jahmi'us Ramsey (leg) will be a game-time decision for Tuesday's game against Louisville, per Chris Beard.

Ramsey suffered some type of hamstring injury in Tech’s 72-61 loss to Iowa on Nov. 28. The star freshman was held out of action in last week’s 65-60 overtime loss at Depaul.
In six collegiate games Ramsey is averaging a team best 17.3 ppg to go along with six rpg.
Tip-off is set for 7:00 PM EST in Madison Square Garden tomorrow night.<
