After spending last season as a sneaker free agent, former Cardinal Terry Rozier has landed a new endorsement deal.

Rozier is the first NBA veteran to sign with Puma as they continue to try and make big push back into the NBA.

Scary Terry signed with Puma a few weeks ago, but they elected to delay the announcement until alter in the summer after the first wave of signings.

Puma made a statement by signing top draft picks Deandre Ayton, Marvin Bagley III, Michael Porter Jr. and Zhaire Smith.

Rozier landed an adidas deal shortly after he entered the NBA, but they dropped him after he was seen wearing Nike’s in warm-ups.

“Me signing with Puma is basically letting you know, I’m taking over the Puma world,” Rozier said in an exclusive interview with Bleacher Report. “You got guys taking over Nike, whatever. I’m competing with the Puma world and I’m taking over that s—t. From the jump. That’s my whole thing. I feel like I’m going to turn it up because— I ain’t gonna knock nobody on Puma, but I feel I’m very marketable, I’m the guy that they needed to sign.”
