Steven Enoch was limited to just five minutes in Louisville’s blowout win against North Carolina on Saturday due to ankle injury.
Following the game, Mack didn’t seem too sure if Enoch would be ready to go for the quick turnaround against Florida State.
“I wanted to play Steve, but he felt like he couldn’t go today,” Mack said in his post game press conference. “We need Steve Monday night. Malik can’t play forty minutes. We can’t play Dwayne (at center). I know his ankle is bothering him, but we have to figure out a way to get him on the floor and play through a little pain even if he’s not at 100%.”
Losing one of your primary front-court players isn’t ideal when you’re going up against the tallest team in the country.
Fortunately it sounds like Enoch will be available for tonight’s game, although it’s unclear how close he is to being 100%.
Louisville's Steven Enoch (leg) will play tonight against Florida State, per Chris Mack.

Enoch is averaging 9.6 points, 5.5 rounds in 19.9 minutes per game. He was recently bumped out of the starting lineup for Malik Williams who has taken full advantage of the opportunity.
Williams has totaled 31 points and 22 rebounds in the two games he’s been the starting center. He’s averaged 13.3 points and 6.8 rebounds in the Cards previous six games.
It’s great that Malik has stepped up in a major way, but to beat Florida State you’ll need both him and Enoch.<
