Chris Humphrey

The Louisville Cardinal football program’s recruiting momentum has extended into the month of July.

Ahmari Huggins-Bruce, a 5-foot-10, wide receiver, from Dillon, South Carolina, has verbally committed to Louisville.

Huggins-Bruce is Louisville’s 19th commitment from the 2021 recruiting class.

The South Carolina native is rated as a three star prospect in the 247Sports composite rankings.

Huggins-Bruce isn’t as highly ranked as some of Louisville’s other commitments in the 2021 class, but he has a pretty impressive offer list.

The Cards beat out 34 other schools that offered Huggins-Bruce a scholarship. Michigan State, USC, Baylor, North Carolina State, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, Pittsburgh, Georgia Tech, Arkansas, TCU, and Duke were among the biggest schools involved in his recruitment.

Louisville’s 2021 recruiting class currently ranks 19th nationally.
