Although there were no Louisville representation in this year’s NFL Draft at least three former Cardinals have inked deals with NFL clubs.
Micky Crum sent out a Tweet on Monday afternoon indicating that he’s signed some type of contract with the San Francisco 49ers. It’s unclear if this is an undrafted free agent type deal or a rookie mini-camp tryout.
Thank you @49ers for the opportunity. All I needed was to get my foot in the door!! Now watch god work 🙏🏼😤

Crum battled injuries throughout his Cardinal career finishing with 45 catches for 493 yards and four touchdowns in 39 games. The Ohio native had a career-high 22 catches and 224 yards in 12 games as a redshirt senior in 2018.
Crum joins Jaylen Smith (Baltimore Ravens) and Lukayus McNeil as Louisville players who signed with NFL teams after going undrafted.<
