Former Cardinals

Micky Crum Signs With The San Francisco 49ers

Although there were no Louisville representation in this year’s NFL Draft at least three former Cardinals have inked deals with NFL clubs.

Micky Crum sent out a Tweet on Monday afternoon indicating that he’s signed some type of contract with the San Francisco 49ers. It’s unclear if this is an undrafted free agent type deal or a rookie mini-camp tryout.

Crum battled injuries throughout his Cardinal career finishing with 45 catches for 493 yards and four touchdowns in 39 games. The Ohio native had a career-high 22 catches and 224 yards in 12 games as a redshirt senior in 2018.

Crum joins Jaylen Smith (Baltimore Ravens) and Lukayus McNeil as Louisville players who signed with NFL teams after going undrafted.
