Major Shift In Louisville – Kentucky Governor’s Cup Point Spread

Chris Humphrey

Considering last years 56-10 beat down that Kentucky handed Louisville in Cardinal Stadium, I think it’s safe to say the Wildcats will be favored in the 2019 Governor’s Cup Battle.

Kentucky would be the favorite if the game was played today, but there’s been a major change in the spread since we got our first glimpse over the summer.

FanDuel had Kentucky -13.5 over Louisville as of May 31. In early August the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook has Kentucky -9 over the Cards.

Rick Bozich of WDRB reports that earlier this week he spoke with a senior handicapper at VegasInsider.com who says Kentucky would currently be a three point favorite over Louisville.

Louisville ranked dead last ATS in 2018 only covering once in 12 games. They’re off to a much better start in 2019 at 3-1 ATS.

Kentucky is now 2-3 on the season losing their last three games. The Wildcats are 2-3 ATS.
