Only four former Louisville Cardinals were on NBA rosters during the 2016-17 season. Clearly that isn’t many, but UofL’s presence in the NBA is actually growing faster than it ever has. Especially with Donovan Mitchell expected to be a top twenty pick.

Rick Pitino has never produced a “one & done” and it’s hard to predict that he ever will. That said, lately he’s done a good job developing players and getting into the NBA.
