Hancock reinjured his shoulder during practice earlier this week. Pitino described his status as “iffy.” Hancock injured his shoulder last April in a pick-up game at IU-Southeast. The injury required surgery.
This was the second shoulder injury for Hancock. He suffered a similar injury last season while practicing with the team after transferring from George Mason.
Hancock has started the last five games for Louisville. He is averaging 6.6 points and 2.8 rebounds per game.<
