Since losing two in a raw a few weeks ago, Chris Mack and the Louisville Cardinals have won four in a row. As of today, three of those four wins would be quadrant one wins.
Net Rankings – Quadrant System
Quadrant 1: Home 1-30, Neutral 1-50, Away 1-75.
Quadrant 2: Home 31-75, Neutral 51-100, Away 76-135.
Quadrant 3: Home 76-160, Neutral 101-200, Away 135-240.
Quadrant 4: Home 161-353, Neutral 201-353, Away 241-353.
With a 4-3 record in quadrant one games, only six teams have more quadrant one wins than Louisville — Kansas (7), Seton Hall (6), Baylor (5), West Virginia (5), Oregon (5), Wisconsin (5).
With the NET Rankings being updated every day, at seemingly any moment, Louisville could go from having four quadrant one win, to having just one. Michigan is at No. 29 and needs to remain in the top 30 for that to remain a quad 1 game. Both Pittsburgh and Notre Dame need to remain in the top 75. If both fall below 75, those road wins would drop to quadrant 2.
Louisville fans should now be fans of Michigan, Pittsburgh and Notre Dame for the rest of the regular season.
