Scott Satterfield and the Louisville Cardinals will play in the 2019 Music City Bowl in Nashville, Tennessee.

As of Sunday morning, all signs pointed to Louisville facing the Tennessee Volunteers. Multiple reports surfaced on Sunday afternoon with the Cards and the Vols being the two teams meeting in Music City, but there appears to have been a last minute change of plans.

UofL athletic director Vince Tyra’s Tweet states that the Cards will take on the Mississippi State Bulldogs.

Once the regular season came to an end, all signs pointed to Louisville in Nashville for the Music City Bowl or in Annapolis, Maryland, for the Military Bowl.

I’d say nearly every Louisville fan is happy how it turned out.

It’s important to note that as of 4:00 PM, the Music City Bowl hasn’t officially confirmed the match-up. All they’ve done up to this point is confirm via their Twitter account that Louisville is one of the two teams.

We’ll have more as it develops…
