On Monday evening Bobby Petrino and his staff became the latest power five program to extend a scholarship offer to a local prospect who is still a year away from playing high school football.
Kiyaunta Goodwin, a 6-foot-6, 350-pound, lineman from the Louisville area announced on Monday that he’s picked up a scholarship offer from the University of Louisville.

Goodwin is entering eighth grade at Olmstead Academy and is 13-years old. He picked up offers from Kentucky and Georgia last week after taking unofficial visits to both schools. Other schools who reportedly have already begun showing interest in Goodwin include Oregon, Purdue, Wisconsin and Florida State.
