Scott Satterfield and his staff have had one helluva run on the recruiting trail over the past few months.

They landed their 20th commitment from the 2021 class on Thursday afternoon as Jaylin Alderman gave the Cards a verbal pledge.

The 6-f00t-1, 215-pound, inside linebacker made the announcement on Twitter.

Alderman wasn’t received a Louisville offer in March and had a virtual visit with the staff last week before making his decision.

The Valdosta, Georgia, native is rated as a three star prospect by Rivals, but doesn’t have a star ranking from 247Sports.

Louisville is the only power five offer that Alderman currently has. He chose the Cards over multiple group of five programs, including Southern Miss, Cincinnati, FIU, Appalachian State, Coastal Carolina, Tulane, Liberty, Akron, Georgia State, and Troy.

The Cards current 20-man recruiting class ranks 21st nationally from 247Sports.
