Louisville In The Mix For 4-Star Georgia Linebacker

It didn’t take long for Scott Satterfield and his staff to get to work on the recruiting trail.

The same day he was officially introduced as the defensive coordinator at Louisville, Bryan Brown joined Satterfield on an in home visit with one of the top uncommitted inside linebackers in the 2019 class.

Jamie Pettway, a four-star prospect from Albany, Georgia, shared a photo with Satterfield and Brown on Wednesday night.

The 6-foot-3, 230-pound, linebacker has remained high on Louisville despite the disaster of a season the Cards had in 2018.

Pettway took an official visit to Louisville on Nov. 17 a week after Bobby Petrino was fired.

It appears Vince Tyra has done a nice job at keeping the program in the mix with recruits throughout the coaching change.

Louisville, Missouri, Georgia Tech and Tennessee are the final four schools Pettway is considering. He’s expected to sign next week on national signing day.
