After a week off due to Covid-19 issues the Louisville men’s basketball program has been cleared to return to the court.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville’s medical team has advised that the Cardinals’ men’s basketball team may begin the integration back to action on Thursday, a week after pausing all team activities due to COVID-19 issues. The team will participate in two days of individual or small group sessions on Thursday and Friday, with the first organized full team practice scheduled for Saturday.
UofL and Wisconsin will continue to look for a future date to possibly play their game originally scheduled for Dec. 9, but there is currently no plan in place for the postponed contest. The Cardinals’ next scheduled game is Dec. 16 against NC State in the KFC Yum! Center.
The Cards next scheduled game is against NC State on Wednesday, Dec. 16. The Wolfpack program recently shutdown due to covid issues, which means that game could get postponed. Don’t be surprised if Louisville is able to do some last minute scheduling similar to what we’re seeing across the country in college hoops.<
