For the third time in the past month one of the top high school prospects in the city of Louisville has decided against the hometown program.
Milton Wright, a 6-foot-3, four-star, receiver out of Louisville Christian Academy committed to Jeff Brohm and the Purdue Boilermakers on Friday morning.
Wright chose Purdue over Alabama, Kentucky, Louisville and Ohio State.
The Louisville staff has been pursuing Wright for over two years and appeared to be in good shape for the majority of his recruitment. Unfortunately all momentum appeared to fizzle in recent months for understandable reasons.
Bobby Petrino and his staff are now 0-for-9 with the top ten players in the state of Kentucky.
J.J. Weaver is the only uncommitted four star recruit in the state of Kentucky. The local product recently took an official visit to Louisville and it reportedly went well. However, the in-state rival appears to be in better shape at this point.
