Louisville Has “Parted Ways” With Assistant Coach Jordan Fair

UofL Athletics

UofL announced on Wednesday evening that assistant coach Jordan Fair has been fired.

Fair was placed on administrative leave last Friday after his reported involvement in a federal investigation regarding someone associated with Louisville signee Brian Bowen receiving $100,000 to sign with the school.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville has parted ways with assistant men’s basketball coach Jordan Fair, exercising the option in his contract to terminate his employment without cause. He will continue to be paid for 30 days.

Associate head men’s basketball coach Kenny Johnson remains on paid administrative leave.

Fair was elevated to assistant coach in March, replacing Mikr Balado who took the head coaching position at Arkansas State. Fair had previously worked as a program assistant.
