Chris Mack and the Louisville Cardinals will be huge favorites in their home opener on Sunday afternoon.
According to VegasInsider.com, Louisville opened as 25.5 point favorites over the Youngstown State Penguins, but the line has since moved to Louisville -26.5.
The Cards are 1-0 ATS this season after covering 6.5 points in Tuesday’s 87-74 season opening win at Miami.
Youngstown State is coming off a 12-20 season where the finished sixth in the Horizon League. They were picked to finish sixth in this year’s preseason media poll.
The Penguins enter Sunday’s game with Louisville at 1-0 after defeating Thiel College by a score of 101-53 last week. Thiel competes at the NCAA division three level.
Youngstown State returns all five starters and nearly every member of last year’s team. With that said, last year’s team wasn’t very good.
Keep an eye on sophomore guard Darius Quisenberry. He had a stellar freshman campaign that resulted in 13.8 PPG on 41% shooting. Quisenberry was named to the All-Horizon League second team.<
