Louisville Fans Invade Cincinnati To See Lamar Jackson Put On A Show

I’d say the hundreds of Louisville fans that traveled to Cincinnati to see Lamar Jackson are happy they made the trip.

Jackson missed a couple practices last week with an illness which could’ve spoiled somewhat of a homecoming for him as the Ravens traveled to Cincinnati to take on the Bengals.

Fortunately Lamar was able to suit up and he put on an absolute show for the Louisville fans that traveled roughly 100 miles north to see their former quarterback look like a player that was created in a video game.

Jackson finished with 15 completions on 17 attempts for 223 yards (13.1 passing yards per attempt), three touchdowns, and a perfect 158.3 passer rating.

It’s the second time this season that Jackson has had more touchdown passes than incompletions. It’s also the second time Jackson has recorded a perfect passer rating, tying him with Ben Roethlisberger as the only passers to have two such games in the same season.

Jackson is now the third player in NFL history—along with Joe Montana and Aaron Rodgers—to throw for three touchdowns, rush for a score, and have a perfect passer rating (minimum of 15 completions) in a single game.

The Louisville Cardinal presence was strong in the queen city.

Lamar was certainly appreciative of the support he received from his alma mater, but he wasn’t surprised.
