One of Rick Pitino’s top targets in the 2018 class is five-star center Moses Brown. The New York native took an official to Louisville earlier this month and according to a recent conversation with Jeff Greer of the Courier Journal, the visit went really well.
Just one week after his visit came to an end, the Louisville staff returned the favor and paid Brown a visit. According to Scout.com, assistant Jordan Fair was at Brown’s high school on Monday to watch an open workout.
Louisville, Maryland and Kansas appear to be the leaders, but Arizona, Florida, Michigan, UCLA and USC are also in the mix. Duke, Kentucky and St. John’s are making a late push for Brown.
Scout.com has Brown ranked as the 13th best overall player in the 2018 recruiting class. The 7-footer is rated as a five-star prospect by all recruiting services.
Rick Pitino and his staff want to add at least one more front-court player in the 2018 class and Brown is clearly their top target at this point.
