Scott Satterfield’s 2020 class now features a total of 27 future Cardinals.
The program officially announced a 25-player class on the first day of earlier signing period and they’ve since added two more.
Henry Bryant, a three-star, defensive end, from Del Ray Beach, Florida, has been committed to the Cards since June, but chose not to sign on the first day of the signing period.
Bryant was still being heavily pursued by other power five programs, but in the end he stuck with the Cards and officially signed on Thursday.
The Florida native chose Louisville over Duke, Iowa State, NC State, Kentucky, West Virginia, Pitt and Syracuse.
Louisville’s 27th signee comes from the junior college ranks. Yaya Diaby, a three-star, defensive end from Georgia Military Academy gave the Cards somewhat of an unexpected commitment on Thursday night.
Diaby has always been high on Louisville and recently took an official visit, but also had later visits scheduled over the next few weeks. Apparently he saw enough at Louisville to pull the trigger and sign with the Cards.
The Atlanta native chose the Cards over offers from Florida State, Tennessee, Kansas State, South Carolina, West Virginia, Arizona, Colorado, UCF and Texas Tech.
Louisville’s 2020 class currently ranks 39th nationally by 247Sports.<
