Scott Satterfield and the Louisville Cardinals will be home underdogs for the second consecutive week.
Per VegasInsider.com, Virginia has opened as 2.5 point favorites over Louisville in Saturday’s 3:30 match-up at Cardinal Stadium.
Louisville’s 4-3 overall record is the same as their record against the spread. The Cards failed to cover 24.5 points against Clemson on Saturday.
Virginia bounced back on Saturday with a 48-14 win over Duke. The Cavaliers suffered their first loss a week prior, falling at Miami, 17-9.
The Cavaliers are 6-1 overall, but just 3-3-1 against the spread this season. They’re right outside the top 25 in both major polls.
Virginia will certainly be a challenge for the Cards, but their recent dismantling of Duke might be a little misleading.
Duke turned the ball over five times to set up four Virginia scores of 34-yards or less. The Cavaliers also came up with a special teams touchdown.<
