Roughly two months after verbally committing to Bobby Petrino and the University of Louisville, local product Demontae Crumes is having second thoughts.
The 6-foot-1 wide receiver gave Louisville a verbal pledge on February, 19. On Wednesday afternoon he announced on his Twitter account that he’s reopened his recruiting.

It sounds like Crumes is still very high on Louisville, but wants to explore his other options. This makes sense, considering Memphis was his only other offer at the time of his initial commitment.
The Butler High School star has since picked up scholarship offers from Kentucky and Western Kentucky.
As a junior, Crumes had 30 catches for 770 yards and 14 touchdowns.
