Local Lineman Gives Satterfield First Homegrown Commitment


The Louisville football staff’s recent momentum continued on Tuesday afternoon as the Cards landed their eighth commitment from the 2020 class.

Austin Collins, a three-star lineman from Christian Academy of Louisville announced his commitment via his Twitter account.

Louisville is Collins’ first power five offer. He also holds offers from Western Kentucky, Ball State, Bowling Green, Eastern Michigan, Miami of Ohio, Toledo, UAB and Western Michigan.

Collins is listed as a defensive end prospect in the 247Sports database, but he’s expected to play on the offensive line at the next level.

The 6-foot-4, 260-pound, prospect is the Louisville staff’s first commitment from a homegrown recruit.
