For the second straight year EA Sports has decided to put the defending NFL MVP on the cover of their most popular video game.
In his first season as a full time starter Jackson threw for 3,127 yards, 36 touchdowns and six interceptions while completing 66.1 percent of his passes and posting a passer rating of 113.3. In addition, he rushed for 1,206 yards and seven scores, averaging a hefty 6.9 yards per carry.
The well known “Madden curse” had already been on shaky ground prior to the 2019 season, but Patrick Mahomes’ Super Bowl season might’ve officially killed it.
Regardless, Jackson says he’s not worried about the curse.
