Shortly after the UofL football team’s annual spring game on Saturday we learned that one of the longest tenured Cardinals will be moving on from the program.
Quarterback Kyle Bolin didn’t take any reps during the game on Saturday and afterwards he informed the media that he’ll graduate in May and transfer elsewhere to finish his collegiate career. This was clearly a decision he had made long before the spring game.
Jody Demling of CardinalAuthority.com was the first to report the news.
Bolin later shared this on his Instagram account.
It’s unclear what schools Bolin will consider, but because he’ll graduate in May, the Lexington native will be able to play right away. Bolin finished his career at UofL with 2104 yards passing and 13 touchdowns.
