Josiah Turner Has Committed To Arizona

Josiah Turner, the No. 10 recruit in the Class of 2011 according to Rivals.com, has committed to Arizona

Turner, made an official visit to Louisville on September 4, and visited Arizona this weekend, for the Wildcats football game, as they upset then-No. 9 Iowa.

Quotes from Arizona Republic.

“I had a lot of fun here,” he said via telephone as he was preparing to fly home to Sacramento, Calif. “I bonded with everybody. I liked the teammates, the coaches and I got to meet the AD.”

Turner was scheduled to go to Kansas on Oct. 15 for its vaunted Late Night in the Phog practice-opening ceremonies, but decided to cancel.

According to Turner and his mother, their visit to Louisville went very well, she indicated Louisville was definitely
in the running for Josiah. However, the word around the recruiting circuit was that Turner wanted to stay on the west coast.

I imagine the Cardinal staff will now pursue Tony Wroten, a little harder.
