Former Louisville quarterback Jordan Travis has found a new home.
Travis announced via his Instagram account on Wednesday afternoon that he will transfer to Florida State.
Travis chose to transfer from Louisville mid-season after playing in three games, completing 4-of-14 passes for 71 yards and one touchdown.
Despite being third on the depth chart, Travis was believed to be the quarterback of the future. The Florida native received rave reviews from the staff once he arrived on campus in June.
A segment of the Louisville fanbase hoped a new coach would be able to convince Travis to return, but it doesn’t appear that was ever in play.
Given that he’s headed to Florida State, this won’t be the last time Louisville fans see Jordan Travis.<
Denver native by way of the Clifton neighborhood in the mean streets of Louisville. Lifelong Louisville man. Once shared a cab with Joseph N’Sima. Recovering Twitter addict – 2 years clean. Will never hang up and listen.
