After leading the Cards in scoring in both of their victories last week Jordan Nwora has received ACC Co-Player of the Week Honors.
Nwora and Duke’s Tre Jones share player of the week honors while Duke big man Vernon Carey Jr. was named freshman of the week.

In a pair of victories this week, Nwora averaged 20.5 points, 9.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.5. In the Cardinals’ 58-43 victory over No. 4/5 Michigan, Nwora totaled 22 points and 12 rebounds, his 11th career double-double and the sixth game scoring over 20 points this season. Against Pittsburgh Nwora produced 19 points, six rebounds, two assists and two steals while making 7-of-12 shots from the field in Louisville’s first ACC home game of the season.
The preseason All-America selection leads the ACC and is 15th in the nation in scoring, averaging 21.6 points per game. His 194 points scored this year is the most for a Louisville player through nine games over the last 20 years.

Nwora is the first Louisville player to receive weekly All ACC honors this season. He earned Freshman of the Week honors during the 2017-18 season.
