Louisville sophomore-to-be Jordan Nwora is making the most of his opportunity with the Nigerian national team.
Not only did Nwora make the official 12-man roster for Nigeria in the Africa FIBA World Cup Qualifiers, he’s leading the entire tournament in scoring.
In three games, Nwora is averaging 21.7 points and eight rebounds.
Nwora had a monster performance on Sunday in a blowout win over Mali. He finished with 36 points, five rebounds, four assists and four steals.
His 36 points is the most ever scored by a Nigerian player in a major tournament.
