On Thursday multiple different outlets reported that Louisville’s Jordan Nwora has signed with
David Mondress of BDA Sports Management.
In previous years that would mean that Nwora would’ve immediately lost his amateurism status and no longer been eligible in the eyes of the NBA, but thanks to a recent change in the draft process Nwora still has the ability to return to school.
Nwora can be repped by an agent who has been certified by the NCAA. To maintain eligibility he’d need to terminate a written agreement with the agent before May 29.
In this process an agent will help with meetings with NBA teams and setting up workouts.
Nwora will participate in the NBA Draft Combine in Chicago. I’d say the feedback he gets from the combine will play a huge role in his decision.
Louisville is believed to be a preseason top ten team with Nwora returning.
