One of the highest ranked recruits to ever commit to the Louisville Cardinal football program has announced that he’ll finish his career elsewhere.
Quarterback Jawon Pass has entered the transfer portal. 247Sports.com was the first to report the news.
Pass was ranked as the 161st best overall prospect in the 2016 class via 247Sprorts rankings. He’s the 12th highest ranked Louisville recruit of all time.
The Alabama native took over starting quarterback duties in 2018, but only kept the starting gig for a few games before Malik Cunningham took the reigns. Pass won the starting job in 2019 in the first season of the Satterfield era, but played only two games before suffering a season ending injury.
In 20 career games as a Louisville Cardinal Pass threw for 14 touchdowns and 2,545 passing yards.<
