In Year Two Chris Mack Has A Preseason Top Five Team

With the start of the college basketball season just over two weeks away, the Associated Press released the first installment of its Top 25 rankings for the 2019-20 season Monday.

In his second season at the University of Louisville, Chris Mack has the fifth best team in college basketball according to the AP voters.

20. Saint Mary’s

21. Arizona

23. Purdue

24. Auburn

25. VCU

Louisville is one of four ACC teams featured in the top 25. This is the first time since the 2013-14 season that the ACC hasn’t had at least five teams ranked in the preseason AP poll.

The Cards are scheduled to play five of the top 13 teams in the country.
