After spending the majority of his rookie season in the NBA D-League, former Louisville Cardinal Montrezl Harrell took a huge step forward in his second season as a professional.
Harrell’s minutes weren’t very consistent throughout the 82 game regular season, but when he got the opportunity to play, Trez definitely made the most of it.
In 18.3 minutes per game during the regular season, Harrell averaged 9.1 points and 3.8 rebounds. The Houston Rockets shared highlights from Trez’s sophomore season in the NBA. As expected, the reel includes plenty of dunks.

The Rockets could’ve used more Harrell in the post-season, but for whatever reason his minutes dropped quite a bit during the playoffs. He only played in a total of five playoff games for a total of twenty minutes.
